New Delhi: Indian couple in Norway on Friday reunited with their children after 3 months. This is being seen as a patch-up between them and the Norwegian authorities. An agreement has been reached between the Child Welfare services and the parents.
Authorities have agreed to give the children's custody to their uncle but on the condition that the parents must stay back in Norway and visit India just twice or thrice a year. Authorities want to ensure that there is no subsequent contact between the parents and their children.
The Indian couple have 'informally' agreed to the conditions saying that their visa renewal process is on and promised they won't be settling back in India.
Norwegian Child Welfare Services had placed the couple's two children under foster care in May last year, alleging abuse and negligence. They will be seeing their kids for the first time in 3 months.
