Mumbai | 5 injured as 'drunk driver' rams car into a tree, 1 critical

Mumbai: Nearly five people were injured in a car accident in Mumbai late on Friday night when the driver of a speeding Hyundai Getz lost control over the vehicle and rammed it into a tree. There were three boys and two girls in the car.

One of the girls is said to be in a critical state.

The incident happened in the western suburb of Santa Cruz.

The Mumbai police registered a case of rash driving and driving under the influence of alcohol against one person.
