No regrets about what I did - Rajniti Prasad

New Delhi: RJD MP Rajniti Prasad tore some papers, threw it in the well of the House and shouted slogans protesting against the Lokpal Bill. His party colleague Ramkripal Yadav also protested against the Bill.

"It was a spontaneous act not planned. It will benefit everyone. I tore the bill because I felt it was not a good bill. I wasn't helping the government, if it was so I wouldn’t be speaking against Narayanswamy. I don’t regret it, I just opposed the bill," Prasad said.

Several MPs including Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI(M)) leader demanded a ruling from Chairman Mohammad Hamid Ansari on the confusion related to the House session continuing beyond midnight as the session was only till December 29.
