Hyderabad: 6-year-old girl burnt to death

Hyderabad: A six-year-old girl has been burnt to death allegedly by her mother's lover on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The girl was wrapped in a mattress and set on fire.

The girl succumbed to her injuries at a government hospital.

The suspect, identified as Vijay, is in police custody. The police are looking for the mother of the victim.

A case of murder has been registered, but the motive for the killing is yet to be ascertained.
