New Delhi: After launching its 7-inch Galaxy Tab 2 earlier this month, Samsung has now announced to come up with a new 10.1-inch version of the Galaxy Tab 2.
The device features a 10.1-inch PLS TFT dispaly with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, the device runs a Touch Wiz-skinned version of Android 4.0.
The tablet is 9.7 mm thick, and has 1GB of RAM. It will come in two versions - 3G + Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi only.
It sports a a 3-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. The device will come in two variants - 16GB and 32GB - which is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. It has a 7,000mAh Li-ion battery.
Other feratures include Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, and a proximity sensor on the 3G version.
The company has not divulged any pricing information yet. Starting from UK, the Galaxy Tab 2 series will be launched in global market from March.
