Plane carrying 21 crashes in northern Nepal

Kathmandu: Police says a plane with 21 people on board has crashed in Nepal's mountainous north.

Police said the plane crashed Monday while trying to land at the Jomsom Airport, a gateway to a popular tourist and trekking area. It belongs to local airline company Agri Air.

Police and soldiers have rushed to the area. 15 people are reported dead and 6 injured.
