Barfi' is India's entry for Oscars in Foreign Language Film category

'Barfi' has been nominated as India's entry in the category of Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars this year.

The Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra starrer is a moving tale about a hearing and speech-impaired boy and a girl with autism.

The film, directed by Anurag Basu and starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles has a sensible approach towards differently abled people.

The movie which released on September 14, was made at a budget of Rs 30 crore. It minted Rs 34.6 crore during the weekend, and amassed a total of Rs 58.6 crore over the week.
