New Delhi: The crisis for Kingfisher Airlines certainly meant good business for its competitors.
However, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) stepped in on Thursday.
The aviation watchdog has said that it will monitor the increase of airfares by other airlines following the cancellation of flights by the Kingfisher Airlines.
According to DGCA, it is the government that will take a call on Kingfisher deciding to end all unprofitable routes and importing fuel.
However, the DGCA said that it could not act in haste on pulling up airlines, adding the issue of slot cutbacks was being examined.
