New Delhi: Congress MP and Minister of State for PMO V Narayansamy said on Thursday that there was no pressure on Congress from Anna. Saying that the party was talking to ally Trinamool Congress, he said the Bill introduced by the government was not merely going to fight corruption, but possessed other strong points too.
"We are speaking to Trinamool. We have left it to state's discretion," he said.
"Most of the BJP's amendments on Lokayukta have been defeated. Let's see how it goes in the Rajya Sabha."
"There is no pressure on us from Anna. Lokpal is not only a bill to fight corruption. We have come out with other measures," the minister added.
