Rajasthan - resident doctors to resume duty today

Jaipur: Resident doctors in Rajasthan who were on strike for the past seven days in support of in-service government doctors, will resume duty on Wednesday.

Resident Doctors' Association representatives on Tuesday night met State Health Minister Duru Miya at his residence and informed him that they will return to work on Wednesday morning.

"The association has given a letter to the minister assuring to call off their strike unconditionally," an official said.

Over 3,400 resident doctors across the state were on strike in support of the agitating government doctors, who are demanding time-bound promotions and pay-hike.
